My main area of expertise is the production, maintenance and reviewing of 3D geomodels, in Schlumberger Petrel.

A key part of geomodelling, is the interaction with the stakeholders of the project and those who will receive the deliverable project. This interaction allows for a team-wide understanding of the question that the project is aiming to answer, a firm deliverable outcome, and a tailor made solution using all the available data within an acceptable time frame.

In this role, it is essential to be able understand the sources and use of all of the data available. The experience I have gained working with other geologist, petrophysicists, geophysicists and reservoir engineers allows me to use multiple-data types in both traditional and novel ways with ease.  I am a keen advocate of utilising and incorporating as much data as possible, including specialised geophysical products and feedback from dynamic models.

As the amount and variety of data available to construct geomodels increases, the skill to interpret, analyse and integrate is key. I have experience with undertaking complex geostatistical analysis of geophysical data (AI, VpVs, VShale), facies (EFAC and Litho-facies) and property (NtG, Porosity, Permeability) analysis.
