Business Development

During M&A work, the difference between what is advertised in the data room and the value of the project can be vast. Having worked on both sides of a data room, I am aware of the time pressure placed on the team in making a big decision based on data and models that might be a little (or a lot) over promoted.

The experience I have gained working in multiple geological environments means that I have a great deal of analogue data at hand, and can also advise on specific online tools that can be used by the wider team to help bring up understanding of new projects quickly.

Having audited and reviewed numerous models in my career, I have the knowledge to identify where in models and workflows the data has been uplifted, and what are the possible impacts on both the in-place and recoverable hydrocarbons, and therefore the ultimate value added to the development.
