Equity Redetermination
As fields mature, and more data is collected, it may become apparent that the original tract participation determined at the beginning of the project does not fully represent the actual distribution of reserves. In most cases the Unit Operating Agreement (UOA) regulates when any redeterminations can be held, and the total number of redeterminations allowed.
In these unique settings, the guidelines provided by the UOA can be both ambiguous and restrictive on the methods of modelling and redetermination processes used. As an independent expert, I can provide advice on redetermination preparation, review the deliverables insuring that all details in the UOA are met, suggest sensitivity studies and methods for tracking changes, and be Devil’s Advocate to help understand possible losses.
